Pawan Kalyan visited Warangal on June 17. Besides meeting a critically ill child and offering prayers at Bhadrakali Temple, the visit has political significance as Jana Sena is working to expand its organizational network in Telangana. Party leaders indicated plans for membership drives and recruitment of local leaders in the region.
Recently, Pawan Kalyan came into focus after the Telangana government denied permission for the “Navanirmana Sabha” planned in Hyderabad during Telangana Formation Day celebrations. His strong comments against the denial created political discussion across the state. While BRS and Congress leaders criticised him, BJP leaders openly supported his stand.
